After 10 years of specializing in France, in 2003 we advanced our model for active vacations and took it and applied it in many new destinations. We are focused on bicycle tours and hiking tours, and recently in multi sport tours. Moreover, the concept of SELF GUIDED travel is our main specialty. We have developed very good knowledge of what our customer is looking for and are able to advise any interested person on what is the best option for them.

In Europe we sell more than 2 million dollars in bicycle and hiking tours annually. That on an average tour cost of less than half the average group guided tour! Our total growth in 2009 has been more than 7% over 2008, and our cycling product has grown more than 27% last year. We have a client base of more than 5000 travelers, many who have come back to to explore new regions/countries each year. Pure Adventures sales expect growth to continue unabated as more people discover self guided touring.

In every tour we sell, we offer the expertise of a local guide/support person(s) to help us design the best tour routes around important sites and fun things to do or in spectacular areas. They help us find charming and typical lodging, typical restaurants, and they adhere to our our standards for customer service and support. In France, we are that local service! In our other countries they are experienced locals we require to meet our standards. They are always full time professionals 100% focused on the activity of cycling or hiking. We do not employ student leaders or friends of friends to suggest site seeing! The years of experience varies from a few years to more than 20; but the bottom line is that in every step of the way, your tour is backed up and supported by experienced, professional personnel.

We practice the activities we sell, and so are aware of what it takes from a personal level as well as a professional level. To our clients who have travelled with us over the years and asked for new destinations, this will surely become more widely known!
