The Montreux Jazz is a stupendous 16-day event presenting the world's greatest luminaries of jazz, blues, rock, world-music, rap, electro, pop and soul. Montreux is nestled at the foot of the Alps on the shores of Lake Geneva . This scenic stretch of land is called “The Swiss Riviera”. Ultra-trail Tour du Mont-Blanc - August 29-31, 2008

This one of a kind event crosses the borders of three countries on foot (France, Italy and Switzerland), covers 158 kilometers and a climb of 8,500 meters in one go. Time limit is 45 hours. Current record is 21 hours and 6 minutes.
