Croatia - Dalmatian Coast Hiking Tour
This self guided hiking tour in Croatia is focused on the mainland Dalmatian coast and the many islands just off-shore. The coastline is dotted with historical towns, cities, and villages, but the country is very narrow and so visiting the islands is absolutely part of a visit to the Dalmatian Coast. There is so much to see and do in this part of Croatia, our self-guided hiking tour helps you experience a handful of it. Starting in Split, the routes offer a fantastic adventure to bike the most beautiful and important mainland cities of Split and Dubrovnik while also hiking through some of the most picturesque islands just off the coast including Brac, Hvar, and Korcula. Top quality hotels and all the complicated logistics and bag handling including with local expertise for routes, sites, and what to do like a local! We will welcome you with a local specialty drink and get you started comfortably. You will be active on this trip, traveling to islands by boat, passing through vineyards, olive groves and searching out the next great meal with some excellent suggestions we include. We do recommend booking in advance and avoiding the highest season months. Traveling to Croatia is great in the spring or early fall.
This self guided hiking tour is available to start any date from April through October, but note high seasons of July/August are very crowded and hotel space is at a premium. Ideal travel periods are April/May/September/October. Note; due to the complicated logistics, few modifications are possible to the routing; but several options exist for more hiking and other activities almost every day.
