ITEMS INCLUDED

  • Bikes are equipped with at least 1 bottle cage and bottle, come with helmet, and flat pedals. You may bring your own clipless pedals and we will install/remove for you. Flat tire tools and materials are also provided for each rider.
  • Your support vehicle/guide will carry spares and other material so you don’t need to carry anything else.

In Vietnam you have some choices of bikes and, due to the flight and change of location to Hue and the Central Coast area, you will change bikes. In Hanoi/Halong you have a choice of a road bike with drop bars and skinny tires or a mountain bike. In Hue/Danang/Hoi An you have a choice of hybrid or mountain bike. E-bikes are available in Hanoi only, and for a supplement. We can arrange to send an e-bike to the Centre upon request and with a supplement.

For the Guided 8 Days Central Coast Bike Tour, we recommend the road bike for the first part of the trip and the hybrid for the second part of the trip, but you should choose what makes you most comfortable. The mountain bikes offer fat tires that do well on all surfaces and for city riding but are heavier and require more effort to cover the distance. Note: the terrain is mostly flat with some smaller hills of 5% on Day 5.
