Travel Insurance

Pure Adventures now requires travel insurance on all tours. Here is why:

At Pure Adventures, we have always been strong believers in Travel Insurance, which you may have noticed since we keep reminding you to get travel insurance! [See the latest blog about Travel Insurance post-COVIDWith over 20 years of experience, we know that cancellation is not something you plan on, and unforeseen circumstances can happen suddenly. More often than not, cancellation fees will apply, and you could lose a great deal of money.

In light of challenges related to covid and the post-covid travel landscape (illness, flight delays, etc.,) travel insurance is now required of all travelers booking tours with Pure Adventures. This is separate from anything that your credit card may cover on your airfare; this is for the tour itself. Proof of coverage may be required or you will be asked to sign an e-waiver.

You are free to choose your provider, but our preferred travel insurance partner is TravelSafe for travelers based in the US and Canada. Our customers have had the greatest success with coverage and claims with TravelSafe, so we feel most confident in recommending this provider. We also recommend looking very closely at a type of trip insurance called Cancel For Any Reason insurance or CFAR. It is important to note that CFAR is time-sensitive from the time of paying your tour deposit. Usually, you have 2-3 weeks to purchase this particular option.

How to get travel insurance?

Do not overlook travel insurance for your upcoming trip; it is required for your tour. We have partnered with Travel Safe because they understand how tours work and they are the best option to find the right coverage for you during this Covid travel era. They have multiple travel insurance plans and most importantly, they will be there for you before, during, and after your trip, if you should need anything; especially should you need help in filing a claim.
