  • Day 1: Arrival Day – Have time to explore the town of Montepulcianio with it’s artistic and architectural heritage which led it to be called the “Pearl of the Cinquecento.”
  • Day 2: Bike from Montepulciano to Montalcino, riding through quant little towns including Petroio Castelmuzio, Montisi, San giovanni d Asso, and tasting Brunello wines.
  • Day 3: Mount your bike to ride from Montalcino to Pienza via Sant Antimo. Visit the monastery Sant Antimo, Castiglione d Orcia, and Bagno Vignoni along the way.
  • Day 4: Enjoy the country on a quiet Tuscan ride as you travel to San Casciano Bagni.
  • Day 5: Cycle onto Umbria today, but don’t miss the ruins of the Castle of Meana on your way.
  • Day 6: You will ride from Orvieto to Todi whose proximity is heralded by the wonderful Santa Maria della Consolazione, a magnificent Renaissance church.
  • Day 7: Today is dedicated to the quintessential Umbrian delicacy: the medieval hilltown. After bidding farewell to Todi, you’re off to Trevi.
  • Day 8: Visit a number of monuments testifying to the Roman era as you make your way through Assisi, Spello, and finally to Torgiano.
  • Day 9: Visit the pottery and artistic town of Deruta where ceramics have been part of the history of Italian pottery before you check out and head home.

The tour’s highlights, Montalcino, Pienza, Orvieto, Todi, and Assisi, are nothing short of amazing.
