The Colorado Rockies are famous for big, white snowcapped peaks traditionally associated with skiing and winter sports. More recently these mountains have become home to some of the biggest cycling events in the USA and on this tour, you can experience some of those same rides – on your schedule with your own private group of friends! Starting in Vail, you have the opportunity to ride Vail Pass, going up to over 10,000 feet in elevation while enjoying some fun evenings in this chic mountain town. From Vail you travel to Glenwood Springs, then to Snowmass-Aspen for some incredible rides including the Maroon Bells, a scenic ride over quiet and mostly closed roads. Post ride, you have the unique opportunity to discover local craft beer or craft distilled spirits as well as local and organic foods - new traditions that thrive in Colorado and give unique style to mountain living. Locals play hard outdoors and relax in style. The tour feels like a self-guided trip but its not. You pay less than a traditional guided trip, and can go on your own time with as few as 2 persons! Hotels are not included but we give you options and you can book your own space, or we can do it for you if you don’t have time or desire to work on that. This unique formula gives you control over your travel dates, budget, and ride pace!
Set against the backdrop of Colorado's breathtaking natural beauty, Vail Marriott Mountain Resort welcomes guests with a completely transformed product, inclusive of refreshed guest rooms and meeting space. You'll find our environmentally friendly resort right at the base of legendary Vail Mountain; Eagle Bahn Gondola is a short stroll away, as are the boutiques and hot spots of Lionshead Village. Settle in to your reimagined room, suite or condo, and enjoy new beds, inspired artwork, enhanced lighting and upgraded amenities. Our condos offer fully equipped kitchens, and some contain fireplaces and balconies with incredible mountain views. Elsewhere at the resort, treat yourself to a massage at Golden Leaf Spa, dine at First Chair or Avalanche Pub, take a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools or soak in the whirlpool after a long day. You can also plan an event in our 21,000 square feet of renovated venue space - the most in Vail Valley. An unforgettable vacation awaits at our luxury mountain resort.
