France – Burgundy Short Bike Tour

(3 Reviews)

This Burgundy “Short” tour is a great way to experience the unique wine country of Burgundy in a quick visit that combines perfectly with a stop over in Paris!  This 3 night offer still is an express “best of Burgundy” as we include Beaune and Dijon with famous wine country between!  Begin in Beaune, famous for its “Cotes de Beaune” wine. Riding through the countryside and local vineyards on your choice of loop rides then a ride to Dijon to finish! All along the way, you’ll have the chance to experience how winemakers make their world-famous wine and sample the culinary masterpieces of the region (like Dijon’s famous mustard).  Of course we will make recommendations for wine and cuisine along the way!

Be sure to leave some time to visit the 15th century ramparts and the famous hospices Hotel-Dieu. Beaune is also the capital of the wine of the region so you will want to visit some of the local cellars for a little ‘degustation’ or tasting! Your orientation with bike set up is at 5-5:30 pm at your hotel.

Enjoy an amazing dining break from the bike!

I felt well informed about what we were to experience. Hotel Chateau de Ste Sabine was the standout. The bikes were a very good match for the route. They preformed fine no problems. I used the GPX files you sent me on my smartphone. Nancy backed me up with the cue sheets. Route finding was not a problem.

La Cloche and Le Richebourg were outstanding, Le Cep was charming, venerable, very welcoming! The bikes worked well and were in good repair.
