This morning we will get packed up and head out to the starting point for our first day of hiking. Beginning at Graves Creek, a tributary off of the Rogue River, this area is popular with rafters and kayakers. Our destination for the night is the Black Bar Lodge and our hiking route takes us along the river, passing historical sites, giving us our first real taste of the area’s beautiful scenery. Stopping alongside the river for a tasty lunch, this serves as the perfect place to sit back, relax, and take in the beauty of where you are! After lunch, we continue on, hiking downriver until we meet our stop for the night, Black Bar Lodge. Once settled in and taking some time to freshen up, we will enjoy happy hour, followed by a traditional lodge-style dinner made of fresh, locally-sourced foods. Tonight, cozy up in cabins and relax, taking in the star-lit sky.
