Short Version of the classic! Self-Guided Belgium Flanders Bike Tour: Everyone knows that Beer and Belgium are inseparable, but Pure Adventures Tours believes that cycling should also be part of that inseparable equation! That is why we’ve organized a shorter version of our standard Belgium tour so that you can easily tack it onto any other travel plans! Very organized trip planning. We’ve have done several self guided cycling trips with this company and each one has been great. I highly recommend Pure Adventures for anyone interested in self guided cycling.
The custom Belgium & Beer trip organized by Pure Adventures was wonderful and we are already recommending it to friends. This is the first self-guided tour we have done, and the style of travel was perfect for us. Only wish we had more time to explore more of the country. There were so many highlights for us. Historic cities of Ghent and Bruges, cycling and the museum in Oudenaard, breathtaking countryside and quiet roads to Ypres, WWI history in Ypres, a night in the St. Bernardus guesthouse, brewery tours, and of course, a glass of Westvleteren at St.Sixtus and bringing home a case of beer. Even stopped by a few football (soccer) stadiums on the route that our son wanted to see. The local Pure Adventures representative were great, and my son really enjoyed talking football with Hans who was a former coach. Wonderful trip for all of us. Thank you so much.
The tour in Belgium was really enjoyable. The Ghent city tour with Hans was a real highlight, so great to have a local take on the city.
The cycle routes were great and the bikes and equipment were good as well. It was really wonderful being on dedicated paths away from traffic. I would have happily kept biking for another 4 days! Many thanks to the Pure Adventures team!
Fun trip with a group of friends; perfect length and good daily cycling distances. We loved the recommendations provided and enjoyed the food, culture, and beer!
Belgium is a great place to visit by bike!
Belgium is simply fantastic for cycling! We are repeat travelers with Pure Adventures and while we typically take longer tours, this tour was perfect to do with our adult children and their spouses. We especially loved all of the suggestions along the route and our contact person was extremely helpful. When my wife needed to find a doctor for some medication, he helped us immediately! Great tour, and many thanks to the team at Pure Adventures! Where to next???
