The Pure Adventurer — 44 Meters of Effortless Luxury on the Dalmatian Coast
Built in 2020, Voyage was designed with a single purpose: to make exploring South Dalmatia feel as indulgent as the destination itself. Sailing with Pure Adventures, this 44-meter yacht pairs sleek Adriatic style with the kind of comfort that turns a cruise into a retreat.
Each of the 18 guest cabins is a private sanctuary — individually controlled air conditioning, a personal safe, TV, hairdryer, and a full ensuite bathroom, all designed so guests can unwind exactly as they please.
Life on board flows easily between moments of quiet and moments together. Stretch out on the sun deck, where loungers and a jacuzzi invite long, unhurried afternoons, or step off the stern’s bathing platform for a swim, with showers close at hand for rinsing off afterward. When it’s time to gather, the air-conditioned upper-deck lounge comfortably seats every guest, while the covered lounge area — with room for around 20 — offers a relaxed spot for evening conversation as the coastline drifts by.
Thoughtfully laid out and quietly luxurious, the Voyage delivers exactly what a South Dalmatia sailing should: ease, elegance, and a journey worth savoring.
Check in to your boat at Trogir, a UNESCO-listed medieval town on a tiny island, where narrow stone lanes lead to the 13th-century Cathedral of St. Lawrence and a lively waterfront promenade. During the short sail we will have a welcome drink and the orientation briefing. We will stop in Maslinica on Šolta, one of Dalmatia’s least-developed islands, for an easy first ride through pine forest and olive groves to inland villages, with almost no traffic. It’s a gentle welcome to island cycling. In the evening we sail on to Vis.
Meals: dinner
Distance: 20 km / 300 m (12 mi / 1,000 ft climbing)
Highlights: Trogir, quiet roads on Šolta island
Overnight: Vis
Vis is one of the Adriatic’s most unspoiled and remote islands. Today’s route winds across its heart through vineyards, fig orchards and stone-walled hamlets to Komiža, a picturesque fishing harbor on the rugged west coast. Stop for a coffee or a swim before looping back. In the afternoon we sail to Korčula.
Meals: breakfast, dinner
Distance: 33 km / 670 vm (21 mi / 2,200 ft climbing)
Highlights: island Vis, fishing village Komiža, old forts and bunkers
Overnight: Vela Luka (island Korčula)
Korčula is one of the Adriatic’s greenest islands, where wine and olive oil have shaped life for centuries. Cross the whole island from the quiet, rural west to the walled medieval town of Korčula in the east. Strong riders can take the full route, while the short option is a relaxed alternative.
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Distance: 60 km / 850 vm ( 37 mi / 2,800 ft climbing) or 15 km / 150 vm (10 mi / 500 ft climbing)
Highlights: Korčula cycling, historical old town, “konoba” restaurants, beaches and coves
Overnight: Korčula town
Today we “cheat” a little and ride on the mainland. The Pelješac peninsula has quiet roads through fishing villages and vineyards, with great views back to the islands. In the afternoon we sail to Hvar.
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Distance: 32 km / 690 vm ( 20 mi / 2,300 ft climbing)
Highlights: cycling on Pelješac peninsula, great views of nearby Dalmatian islands, Hvar old town
Overnight: Hvar town
Climb from the harbor into Hvar’s interior, then descend into the Stari Grad Plain, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape where ancient Greek stone walls and field divisions still frame vineyards and olive groves. It’s a striking contrast to Hvar Town’s polished, lavender-scented hills.
Your boat waits in Stari Grad, one of Europe’s oldest towns (name literally translates to “Old Town”), founded by the Ancient Greeks. Riders that prefer to ride more can add the Jelsa loop, cycling along Ager – a cultured landscape created 24 centuries ago by Greek colonists.
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Distance: 21 km / 460 vm (13 mi / 1,500 ft climbing), extension ride 30 km / 300 vm (19 mi / 1,000 ft climbing)
Highlights: island Hvar, UNESCO World Heritage landscape with dry walls, Stari Grad, Jelsa
Overnight: Stari Grad
We sail to Brač, the third biggest among the Adriatic islands. It is rich with historic sites dating back to Ancient Greece, Middle Ages and Modern times. We ride from its quiet eastern tip along the north shore. The road crosses stone-walled fields and climbs through inland stonemasons’ villages before dropping to Pučišća, a town of white limestone houses at the end of a long, narrow bay and home to a renowned stonemasonry school. From there the route follows the sheltered north coast, with views across the channel toward Omiš and Split, to the relaxed fishing harbor of Postira. It’s a rewarding, moderately hilly day.
Meals: breakfast, dinner
Distance: 43 km / 760 vm (27 mi / 2,500 ft climbing)
Highlights: town Pučišća with stonemasonry school, Brač’s inland villages, views of the mainland (Split, Omiš)
Overnight: Postira
On our final ride we follow Brač’s sunny north-west shore through Supetar, the island’s main town, and on through pine woods and past small coves to Sutivan, with views toward Split and Marjan hill. We finish in Milna, one of Dalmatia’s prettiest harbors, a sheltered bay lined with old stone houses. Celebrate with a farewell dinner on deck.
Meals: breakfast, dinner
Distance: 28 km / 580 vm (18 mi / 1,900 ft climbing)
Highlights: coastal roads, olive groves, views, fishing village Milna
Overnight: Milna
