The trip was excellent. Of the 3 self-guided bike tours we’ve now taken in Europe, each with a different tour company, this was, by far, the best run – best organized and best accommodations. The accommodations were generally great – nice, clean rooms, excellent breakfast buffets, supportive of our biking. The on-the ground support was flawless. The hotels were all ready with our reservations (this has not always been the case in previous tours). Ken was completely prepared for us with the bikes and equipment on our arrival in Ghent. He was very helpful, friendly and informative. And after we discovered a gear problem on one of the bikes during our day of riding outside of Ghent, within !!! 15 minutes !!! of our text on Saturday evening he was there to adjust the bike. The tour included a short history/architecture based guided bike tour of Ghent. Normally, this is not something we would ever have sought out, but went ahead with it, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip – Hans was extremely friendly and his tour was fascinating. The route maps were excellent, generally taking us all the way to the hotel where we were staying, rather than just to the town (again, this has not always been the case in previous tours). One thing your trip description had indicated was that Belgian weather can be an issue in early June, and that we would be on our own in getting between locations if the weather made riding impractical. But for the one day where rain made the ride from Oudenaard to Ypres not possible, Ken contacted us and volunteered to have Hans take us and our bikes in the van along with the luggage that he was ferrying between hotels. Well above and beyond what was committed to. Thanks to all.

We loved the go-at-your-own-speed that a self-guided tour provides you. Plenty of time to stop, see things, relax, and enjoy the ride! Local support and welcome orientation was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Great bike tour!

This was our third cycling tour through Belgium and our first time with Pure Adventures. Everything went to plan and we thought that overall, the entire tour experience went smoothly. Mar had outstanding communication, from start to finish. Belgium is lovely and we always enjoy how cycling-friendly it is there. Plus, one can enjoy a delicious pint as a reward!

The Flanders and Beer Tour was excellent! The bikes, hotels, and routes were great and we really appreciated the extra information provided regarding additional route/beer options. The combination of Belgium beer, scenery, Belgium history, and World War 1 history was exceptional.
