Panama – Water Sports & Beaches Private Adventure Tour

Welcome to Panama! We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check in. At 3:30 PM sharp, we will take you on an exciting street food tour in Panama City, which is the perfect way to learn about the country’s foods, history, and traditions! We will taste many things while exploring Casco Antiguo, the colonial section of Panama City. Chocolate, beer, and rum, just to name a few things that you might try!

Note: the tour’s start time is 3:30 PM and the chocolate tasting is at 4:00 PM; these times cannot be adjusted. If your flight times do not work with this, we can switch to a coffee or ceviche tasting instead. You may also wish to arrive a day in advance, to have more time to explore the area. Please inquire at the time of booking.

Today’s adventure calls for an early start, but it will be worth it. Today we are kayaking the Panama Canal watershed with a nature specialist on a private paddling tour! Exploring this special area by paddling offers a unique perspective to view all of the area’s rich flora and fauna found here , in the Soberania National Park. This park is widely considered one of the best spot in the Americas to view tropical birds! Keep your eyes open for toucans, sloths, and other animals, as they wake up in the morning sun. This is the best time to view wildlife. At the end of your paddling tour, you will have a picnic lunch in Soberania National Park before returning to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore or rest.

This morning starts with your 45 minute flight to Bocas del Toro. Once there, you will be picked up and taken to your boutique hotel, which has an incredible oceanside location. It really can’t be beat! The rest of the day is yours to relax, explore, take in some water activities on your own. SUPs, kayaks, and bikes are available for rent, on-site. There is also a PADI dive center, if you want to add in some dives while you are visiting.

Overnight: Bocas del Toro

Naturally, the best things to do in Bocas del Toro include being in, around, and on the water! With today’s activities, you will have the best opportunity to see the area’s beautiful beaches and reefs, all in one day. Dolphin Bay is a quiet bay located 15 minutes from the main island, abundant in fish and crustaceans. If we are lucky, you may observe groups of dolphins jumping and playing! Around noon we will head towards Coral Cay, our favorite area for snorkeling. Hundreds of reef fish can be found here, going about their daily business. It is quite a sight to see! Lastly, we will visit Bastimentos Island, taking a walk through the m angroves of this national park to Red Frog Beach. Named for the red frogs in this lush part of the island, this is a very special beach! Our day ends with a return back to your hotel, where you can relax or enjoy some more water activities on your own.

Today has a more flexible start time, but we usually start around 9:30 AM. Only a 3-minute boat ride from Isla Colon, we will pass through Solarte Gardens a beautiful area off the cost of Solarte. We will disembark at Pelican Dock and start our hiking tour up the hills and across to the bluff that overlooks Bastimentos. Raw jungle hiking paths combined with diverse wildlife make this island a must-see for anyone visiting Bocas del Toro! Along our hike we will surely see leaf-cutter colonies, birds of all types, red frogs, and some of the largest trees in the area. We may also spot some three-toed sloths, rare birds, eagles, and more!

This morning we start around 9:30 am and embark on an exciting private snorkeling tour of Isla Solarte! Today, you will have the opportunity to explore the marine wildlife of one of the best snorkeling spots in Bocas del Toro: Hospital Point at Isla Solarte. The sea wall at this special location offers snorkelers a richness of sea life, as the turtle grass and lettuce coral in the shallows make way for a wall that drops 12 to 15 meters! While snorkeling, you might see lobsters, moray eels, invasive lionfish, trumpet fish, and deep water corals and sponges along the wall.

Today is your departure day or if you like, ask us to add another night or two here! Your transfer and flights back to Panama City are included. From there, you can return home as you like or extend your stay in beautiful Panama or wherever you are headed next!
