Scotland is a land of myths, legends and historic tales, but Scotland is also a land of breathtaking scenery, great hospitality and some fantastic road and off-road cycling.

Wild Scotland is only a stone’s throw from the main cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and once beyond the cities’ boundaries, the roads are quiet. In fact, once you’re off the beaten track you may have the road to yourself, except for a few sheep.

The beauty of Scotland is in its contrasts and shaped by water. The majestic mountains are punctuated with lochs and rivers, the forests are alive with birdsong and the coastline combines rugged cliffs, golden beaches, picturesque villages and historic castles.

Scotland’s nature influences all aspects of Scottish life too. Whether it’s the water to make the whisky, the wool to make the tweed, the salmon and the venison for the table or the lyrics of a traditional song in a local pub, you’ll fall in love with the country.
