I’m sure that from those who read our blogs and frequent our social accounts – we’ve got some geography buffs in the crowd. So, you probably already know, for example, that Vienna is Austria’s Imperial City, that it has a population of over 2 million people (yet has retained that small city feel), or that it has become a beautiful melting pot – embracing influences from across the old Empire and the new European Union. Sure, you know the facts, but the question is have you experienced the true favour of Vienna?
Vienna was once the capital of an Empire that controlled much of Europe, and many major turning points in European history either took place here, or were the results of decisions made here. Vienna has remained a leader in many cultural areas – amazing food, drink and entertainment are a few of the major draws to the area. Of course we can’t leave out the fact that Austria has THE best bike trails in Europe.
